Dreamgirls is based upon the show business aspirations and successes of R&B acts such as The Supremes. The musical follows the story of a young female singing trio from Chicago who become music superstars. This Dutch production of Dreamgirls uses all-new costume, set, lighting and wig design and opened in September 2014 in Rotterdam.
